Bushnell Launch Pro Circle B: A Budget Foresight GC3?

Pro-grade GC3 hardware in bright orange for a fraction of the price — if you're willing to pay the subscription.

Want high-end launch monitor hardware without dropping $7,000 on a Foresight GC3? The Bushnell Launch Pro Circle B Edition is essentially the GC3's twin, wrapped in loud orange casing and priced to compete in budget territory.

PlayBetter sent out the Circle B Edition for a first look, and the headline is simple: it's the same sturdy hardware you find inside the Foresight GC3, just dressed differently. That bright orange shell actually modernizes the device a bit and makes it stand out on the range.

Standalone on the Course

What sets the Launch Pro Circle B Edition apart is that it doesn't need to be paired with anything to work. A built-in touchscreen display and a built-in battery mean you can take it to the driving range, plunk it down, and get going — no iPad, no phone, no PC required.

The touchscreen lets you set elevation and complete alignment right on the unit, and it delivers your ball and club data directly on the device's own screen. Just like the GC3, it's ready to go with no fuss and no questions asked. In testing, shots registered fast — about 3 seconds from impact to the number appearing on screen.

Indoor Sim Use and the FSX Play Software

For indoor simulator use, the Launch Pro pairs with Foresight's FSX Play app, and the software is genuinely nice. The graphics are excellent, with lots of little touches of realism in the package that you don't see from other brands in this price range.

There's a big caveat, though: this is really only a compelling value if you plan to hook it up to a Windows gaming PC. If your setup runs on an iPad, a phone, or anything other than a gaming PC, your options are limited and this probably isn't your best bet.

Pricing and Subscription Tiers

The Bushnell Launch Pro Circle B Edition retails for $2,500 with the built-in screen and battery. If you don't need outdoor, standalone use, the LPi indoor edition drops the screen and battery for $1,500 — a full $1,000 less.

Both units share the same subscription options. The Silver plan is $199 a year and includes five courses, the driving range, and club data. The Gold plan is $499 a year and unlocks 25 courses plus the ability to connect to third-party apps like GSPro and Awesome Golf.

What works

  • Same hardware as the $7,000 Foresight GC3
  • Standalone use on the course, no pairing needed
  • Fast shot registration (~3 seconds)
  • Excellent FSX Play software and graphics
  • Ball and club data right on the device screen

What doesn't

  • Poor experience on iPad or phone
  • Annual subscription required
  • Full course access locked behind $499 Gold tier
Bottom Line
The Circle B Edition drops pro-level Foresight hardware into a whole new price category. At $2,500 (or $1,500 for the screenless LPi), it's a compelling value — but only if you pair it with a gaming PC and accept the annual subscription.
